There were 2 days of presentations that highlighted particular aspects and issues related to Preservation.

The first day featured preservation and conservation activities in several major and famous places in Rome:

The Vatican Library (http://www.vaticanlibrary.va), The Istituto Centrale per il Restauro e la Conservazione del Patrimonio Archivistico e Librario (http://www.icpal.beniculturali.it) and the Library of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei e Corsiniana (http://www.lincei.it/). 

The second day included two sessions, focusing respectively on topics associated with robotic mass digitisation of cultural heritage library materials, and on exhibition advances for cultural heritage library material.
