Ensuring equitable access to information contributes significantly to achieving the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Libraries are playing an increasingly important role in this process and can be key partners for governments.

In the last several years, IFLA has been working with the library community through advocacy activities at the United Nations and through its International Advocacy Programme (launched in 2016) to make sure libraries are included in National Development Plans.

These videos will allow you to learn more about the UN 2030 Agenda, IFLA’s work at the UN, and the role libraries can play as key partners to further development at the national, regional and global level.
