WIPO Latin America and the Caribbean regional seminar

4 – 5 July 2019

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) is organising three seminars in 2019 which will explore the current landscape of exceptions and limitations to copyright for libraries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, and in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The LAC regional seminar will take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on July 4-5 2019. It will bring together officials from copyright offices in the region, as well as NGO representatives and WIPO officials.

It offers a unique opportunity to influence decision-makers and make them understand the challenges faced by cultural heritage institutions when it comes to copyright.
