Solidarity with Chilean Librarians

On behalf of the IFLA Latin America and the Caribbean Section (IFLA/LAC), I express our deepest sympathy and sorrow to our Chilean colleagues for the loss of lives and damages caused to your country by the earthquake occurred on 27th February. We are paying attention to obtain further information on the situation and possible types of help you consider necessary. We are sure that worldwide library institutions and associations, and librarians will show their solidarity for helping you in any way you consider to be useful.
