The Stellenbosch University Library and Information Service's eleventh Annual Symposium and IFLA Presidential Meeting took place on 18-19 February.

The Symposium explored the role of libraries in the knowledge economy, focusing specifically on issues such as information literacy and Open Access as well as linking it to the IFLA Presidential theme, Libraries Driving Access to Knowledge (A2K).  Six separate sessions took place over the two-day Symposium; complete details on the sessions are available in the Programme
